Borrowing Privileges

Learn how to locate, borrow, renew, and request books and audiovisual materials

Who can borrow?

Students:
- All programs
- Must be currently enrolled
College faculty
College staff
DECHS faculty

Borrowing limits

Total items: 8
Items on a single topic: 3
DVD or book on CD: 1

Loan periods

Books (students): 2 weeks
Books (staff and faculty): 3 months

Study rooms (all users): 2 hours
DVDs and audiobooks: 1 week
Renew to avoid overdue fines – learn more about renewing materials

Returning materials

Please return or renew items by the due date
- Overdue fines: $0.10 per item per day
Use drop boxes to return items if the library is closed
- Drop box locations:
- Boyette Building lobby
- Parking lot behind Boyette
You will be charged the current replacement cost for lost or damaged items
Overdue items and/or fines exceeding $5 will result in a hold on your student record
